Pulse is a youth-led community radio station, broadcasting from Barrhead in East Renfrewshire just outside Glasgow. Launched in 2006 as part of the ‘ER 06’ Youth Festival, the station promotes activities focused on individual and group development, taking a pro-active approach to encouraging community participation across age groups and cultural divides. Pulse offers training and volunteering opportunities for local young people, giving a voice to those who are seldom heard on mainstream broadcasting.
Pulse is now broadcasting full-time on fm and on-line
