Why I Love Barrhead

Our Love Your Community competition has now closed and we’re sifting through the entries to pick a lucky winner.

The competition was aimed at local school children, who we asked to tell us why they love Barrhead. They just had to pick their favourite thing about Barrhead – maybe their school lollipop lady, a local building or even a favourite club – and then tell us about it in any way we could show on s1barrhead.com; a story, a poem, or even a picture they’d drawn or taken.

Now it's time to choose. We're currently looking through the entries, so keep checking back here to see who will be the winner.
