Mains burst hits Barrhead homes water supplies

A burst water main has hit Fenwick Drive in Barrhead, with houses in surrounding streets having no water or discoloured supplies.

The problem happened early on Tuesday 7th August, and Scottish Water are dealing with the burst and are trying to sort the problem.

A statement on the East Renfrewshire Council website said: "Customers in Fenwick Drive and surrounding streets will be affected by this and will either have no water supply, poor pressure or discoloured water.

"Please call Scottish Water on 0800 731 0840 or 0845 601 8855 for more information."
