Just want to say that I think its out of order. Parents from both schools should have been informed b4 they arranged a meeting to discuss OUR kids future and many other parents from both schools feel the same.

The news that Auchenback Primary may close has come as a complete shock to the system,.not only for my wife and I,but for our friends and children who go to the school.

Auchenback Primary is an absolutely brilliant school,i went there myself from 1976 till 1982 ish,.my eldest child went there, and got a great education. My youngest child goes there, she is seven,.and in P3, The teaching staff are the most pleasent, nicest teachers it has been my pleasure to meet,my youngest loves school, and i believe she is getting the best education possible,..Auchenback Primary School has a heart,.a living beating heart that everyone who sends their kids there can feel, .I believe the closure of Auchenback Primary will be to the detriment of each and every child in the school. If this closure goes ahead my child,.who is seven will be uprooted at the very same moment that she is just beginning to be herself,be more confident, and making life long friends. I believe that closing Auchenback Primary is the WRONG decision and that these kids are not being considered at all. It beggars belief that the closure could even be considered mid-term!

I urge whoever makes this decision to please reconsider,.put it off,.not just for a few years,.put it off forever,.let future generations get the benefit of the wonderful education that is available at Auchenback Primary School.
