Plans to close Barrhead's Auchenback Primary to be debated by council
14 December, 2010The future of Auchenback Primary School in Barrhead will be up for debate at a meeting of East Renfrewshire Council, when plans to close the school will be discussed.
Auchenback has capacity for 420 pupils but has a current roll of just 135.
East Renfrewshire Provost Alex Mackie has already threatened to resign if plans to close Robslee Primary in Giffnock are voted through. Robslee has a similar roll to Auchenback.
